Why There's No Single Price
"How much is a polo with our logo on it?" depends on five things. Once you know them, any quote is easy to read, and you can decide where to spend and where to save.
1. The Polo Itself
The blank is the biggest swing in price. A basic poly polo, a mid-range performance polo, and a name-brand polo (Nike, The North Face, Carhartt) can be very different numbers before any decoration. For staff who wear it every day, a mid-range performance polo is usually the best value: it holds its shape and color through repeated washing.
2. Embroidery or Print
- Embroidery is the classic look for polos and the most durable. Price depends on the number of stitches in your logo, not the number of colors.
- Printing (DTF) works well for detailed or full-color logos and lightweight performance fabrics.
Most company polos are embroidered on the left chest.
3. Logo Size and Stitch Count
A typical left-chest logo is about 3 to 4 inches wide. Bigger or denser logos mean more stitches and more machine time. At Shirt52, embroidery digitizing (turning your logo into a stitch file) is free.
4. Number of Logo Locations
Left chest is the standard. Adding a sleeve logo or a company name across the back adds another decoration to each polo.
5. Quantity
Per-piece price drops as quantity goes up. Our minimum is 12 pieces per style and color, and you can mix sizes freely.
